A mystery in the great temple of Tanjore.
Political dignitaries (including ministers, chief ministers) do not visit Tanjore’s Great Temple. Why?
Some random things are thought provoking and make you wonder if this is the case.
There are many things beyond knowledge. Even standing upside down, one can feel it but cannot find the cause.
The Great Temple of Tanjore is very mysterious, and whoever enters it in a position of authority or arrogance will not lose their position or lose their lives!
Like the inscrutable mystery of the Egyptian pyramids, the mystery of the Tanjore temple is as mysterious. No one has fully understood it.
He who understands does not say it outside!
This is why during the Nayaka and Maratha king times, it was seen as a mysterious temple!
To this extent the Nayaks and Marathas were ardent devotees of Hinduism. They fought to protect religion by setting up the government. If they themselves were afraid and kept away from going there, some subtle matter in it was an incomprehensible mystery!
The reason is that Karururar Siddhar, who built the temple, gave some boon to protect it. At that time, if a king wins, the first place to loot is the temple!
As a result, they will say that he is holding a curse power that will destroy anyone who comes there with a royal posture! So those who come there after understanding adharmacheyal through abuse of power will be punished or lose their position.
Otherwise, I am an ordinary man, thinking that You are the eternal God who rules the world, and the leaders who enter the devotional path have not faced any danger!
It was the tradition of the time that when entering there, the king should take off his crown and enter without office. The wish of that Praktheeswaran is that everyone is equal even though the Lord is the king before the king!
Anyone who arrogantly claims that I am in authority over it will lose that authority. That is what is happening from the time of Nayak to this time!
Isn’t it a miracle that the statue of Raja Raja Chola, the ruler of Tanjore, which was enshrined there, had been stolen, and when it was recovered and reached the Tanjore temple, the dry Kaveri, the only asset of Tanjore, came to life?
In fact, a huge problem broke out in Kaveri after the statue of Raja Raja Chola was vandalized. The river is dry.
Surely these cannot be ordinary idols, but idols with some kind of power to thrive where they are.
Our forefathers who sacrificed their lives for the benefit of the nation, worked selflessly and became the clan gods. In that way, the Raja Rajan couple who became the clan deity of Tanjore is no exaggeration. Suffering happened when they were not there. When they come back, the Cauvery river is also overflowing.
Although the recovery of the statue and the arrival of water in the Kaveri are two different events, if we relate it to the Hindu belief that peace and wealth will not last in a family without clan deity worship, it would seem that there is a connection between the hand talking and the tower.
Long live the fame of Mahaveer Rajarajan Chola.
