Whom is Prime Minister Stalin making “impossible” announcements to deceive? BJP state president Annamalai has questioned.
In the X report published by Annamalai in this regard,
Chief Minister Stalin has announced under Article 110 of the Legislative Assembly that an international airport will be set up in Hosur.
On April 4, 2022, DMK Rajya Sabha member Wilson asked a question about the Hosur Airport, and the then Union Minister of State for Aviation General V.K. Singh has clearly answered.
As per the agreement between the Government of India and Bangalore International Airport, 150 km of runway for 25 years from the inception of Bangalore International Airport in 2008. In addition to explaining that new airports cannot be set up in the periphery, the airport located at Hosur is owned by a private company called TAAL and cannot be upgraded under the central government’s UDAN scheme. He also cited the findings of the Transport Department.
He had also made it very clear that the Tamil Nadu government had entered into an agreement with TAAL to improve and utilize the Hosur airport.
Two years have passed. Chief Minister Stalin has again announced that he will set up an international airport in Hosur just for the sake of publicity without taking any efforts to improve the Hosur airport at a cost of 30 crore rupees.
Already by 2022, 7,200 new school classrooms notified under Rule 110, covering 16,390 km. A stretch of road development, including 1,000 new buses and 500 electric buses, has been stalled for two years with half-baked operations.
It is a joke that the DMK, which has not even bought buses in two years, is now planning to build an airport. Whom is Prime Minister Stalin, who has been running advertising politics for three years without fully fulfilling his election promises, Whom is Prime Minister Stalin making “impossible” announcements to deceive? BJP state president Annamalai has questioned.
