Another 159 people are under continuous treatment in the hospital due to their ill health due to consumption of illict liquor. 107 people are in Kallakurichi Government Hospital. 10 of them have been admitted to the intensive care unit. Similarly, 17 people are under treatment in Puducherry. 7 of them are in intensive care unit.
