The Aditya L-1 spacecraft, which was launched to study the Sun, completed its orbit as planned.
ISRO launched the Aditya L1 spacecraft from the Satish Dhawan Space Launch Center in Sriharikota on September 2 last year.
It was decided that the spacecraft would travel 15 lakh kilometers from Earth for 125 days and stop at the Lagrangian point called L1 near the Sun.
Accordingly, the Aditya L-1 spacecraft reached the L-1 point in January this year. It photographed a solar flare last May and sent it back to Earth.
In this case, in the notification issued by ISRO,
Aditya L.1 spacecraft successfully completed its orbit around Lagrangian point-1 after traveling for 178 days.
