It is not their fault that they are born transsexuals, it is because of the change in their genes, “Out of the 23 parallel chromosomes in the human cell, the last 23rd chromosome determines whether one is male or female. A woman’s ovum contains only the X chromosome that causes female characteristics. A man’s sperm contains either an X chromosome, which causes feminization, or a Y chromosome, which causes masculinity. A combination of XX results in a female and a combination of XY in a male. Due to some unexpected changes during genetics, if the female ovum contains an extra X chromosome or an additional X chromosome or Y chromosome combined with a Y chromosome from the male sperm, the child born will be neither male nor female, but a mixture of the two. It is a scientific fact that transgenderism is.
Those who are born with both male and female mammary organs, those who are born with two organs and they are not developed, and those who are born without even one organ are considered transsexuals. Among them are transgenders called Aravanis.
But most transsexuals are born male, with all the male body structures. They have a woman’s mind, actions, character etc. with a male body. Similarly, those who have all the body structures of a woman and are born as a woman but have the mind, actions and character of a man are called Thirunambis.
It is not acceptable that if parents bring up a boy child by dressing him up and dressing him up as a girl child, he will become transsexual with femininity over time. Children will grow up to be only children without gender discrimination in childhood. So it is difficult for parents to identify female children till the age of ten. Playing with girls above the age of ten, becoming more attractive and beautifying themselves like girls, being attracted to colorful clothes, and staying away from boys are seen in effeminate boys. Some boys with feminine characteristics are not confused about their gender. Although feminine, they are certain that their gender identity is male.
But a boy who identifies himself as a girl will have increasing femininity in his speech, mannerisms, body language, etc. in the following years. By the age of fourteen, both boys and girls go through menopause. This is when the female comes of age and the male begins to produce sperm.
If a boy is transgender, he will start to secrete normal male hormones during menopause. Cell production will also begin. At the same time, he develops a feminine character and activity even faster than that. As a result, they are more disturbed than men and women during menopause. Parents can easily recognize this anxiety symptom.
If they are studying in school during this period. Just as parents pick up on their behavioral inconsistencies at home, some of their peers at school may spot the inconsistencies and make fun of them. Some teachers may even approach it from a ‘sexist’ point of view, not just punitive. As a result, transgender people are likely to become angry and irritable and go to the peak of stress. Children need the warmth and acceptance of their parents at this time.
This is the group that worships women as goddesses and this is the same group that mistreats women. Similarly, it is this group that worships transsexuals (Arthanareeswarar) as a deity and at the same time calls them an object of derision.
Parents of transgender children, We will not ignore your feelings in the name of family honor and culture. We will not let anyone insult you. Tell us whenever and wherever you have a problem' and hug your child. We should create an atmosphere in the school where no one talks to the teachers and fellow students and no one makes fun of them.
Toilet” is a major problem for all transgenders in schools and colleges till graduation. Students also cannot use the proper toilet.
The toilet for female students cannot be used either. Due to this, transgenders abandon their studies. To prevent that situation from happening, parents should talk to the school administration and get permission to use the teachers’ toilet.
For transsexuals, the issue of love comes to the fore during school. Parents also have a responsibility to ensure that they do not get hurt. At the age of 15, gender attraction and sex attraction, similar to that of boys and girls, also happen to transgender people. They will fall in love. Often they are “used” and hurt by men when they fall in love. Then if their parents do not understand and guide them, they will start moving towards the transgender community that comforts them. It is then that they leave home and move to cities like Mumbai.
When they don’t get the warmth of their family, they abandon their family status, money, property, town and relationship and join the transgender community. There they are forced to wear female clothes as they like and to live like women, but they are forced to beg or engage in sex work for the money they need for life.
Let’s respect the feelings of transgender people. Let’s put ourselves in their position and let them fully join their families, nurture them, educate them, and give them a way to live. They also have great energy and love beyond measure. We will give importance to them like everyone else without labeling them as unworthy of anything or that they are only worthy of this.
Let’s make way for legal, social and medical protection of transgender people….
