Indian Civil Service Officers of 2022 batch met the President today.
Indian Civil Service Officers of the 2022 batch who are currently appointed as Assistant Secretaries in various Ministries and Departments of the Central Government met President Draupadi Murmu at the Cultural Center at the President’s House today.
Speaking then, the President said,
He said that Indian Civil Service is a dream job in our country and lakhs of youth aspire to become Indian Civil Service Officers.
He said that many of them are working hard to get selected in this job. He advised that those selected for this job should work with integrity and efficiency wherever they work to serve the citizens.
The President said that in this high-tech age where people can get instant information about the country and the world, the challenges for officials have increased.
He noted that by the time they achieve the socioeconomic goals of any project, people’s needs, awareness, and will will have increased, so they should start building systems to help them prepare for the future.
Draupadi Murmu said that gaining and maintaining the trust of the people is the most important aspect of administrators.
