We want to work hard for people. In the next 5 years we want to focus on improving basic infrastructure. Anti-poverty struggles will be intense during this period. We will win this fight. As India becomes the third largest country internationally, its impact will be reflected in people’s lives.

Following this, the opposition MPs walked out, ignoring the Prime Minister’s speech. PM Modi has severely criticized the MPs who walked out. “Those who spread lies do not have the power to hear the truth. Those who walk out unwilling to hear the truth are disrespecting the Rajya Sabha,” he said.
