Home Minister Amit Shah paid tribute to Syama Prasad Mukherjee on his death anniversary.
In his X site post in this regard, he has said that he will pay tribute to Syama Prasad Mukherjee, founder of Jan Sangh, who fought throughout his life for the unity, integrity and self-respect of the country on his martyrdom day.
“Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee made a supreme sacrifice in the struggle to make Jammu and Kashmir an integral part of the country by giving the slogan ‘Ek Nishan, Ek Vidhan, Ek Pradhan’.
He offered alternative ideas to the people by establishing this star of Indian culture to position West Bengal as a member of the Constituent Assembly. His dedication will shine and lead future generations on the path of the nation,” said Amit Shah.
