Supreme Court Chief Justice TY Chandrachud has said that it is very dangerous to consider the court as equal to the temple and the judges as equal to God.
TY Chandrachud, who participated in the regional conference of the National Academy of Justice in Kolkata, said that when judges judge a criminal case, they judge the situation of the accused with compassion.
Chief Justice TY Chandrachud pointed out that language is a barrier for the common people to access the judiciary and understand the judgments.
In that way, he said that technology is very helpful in translating judgments and said that so far more than 51 thousand judgments have been translated into regional languages.
