The court ordered Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to be remanded in judicial custody till July 12 in the Delhi liquor policy violation case.
The CBI had been interrogating Kejriwal for three days on the court’s permission in the Delhi liquor policy case. Kejriwal was produced in Delhi’s Rose Avenue court after the CBI custody was over.
At that time, the CBI argued that he should be handed over to their custody for an additional 14 days. The judge refused to accept this and ordered Kejriwal to be remanded in judicial custody in Tihar Jail on July 12 at the end of the investigation.
