BJP MP and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut was slapped on the cheek by a female CISF constable which had sparked huge debates. In this case, there are reports that a case has been registered against the CISF woman constable under two sections.
Kangana Ranaut arrived at the Chandigarh airport yesterday around 3.30 pm to fly to Delhi. At that time he had regular tests. Unexpectedly at that time, CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur, who was on duty, slapped Kangana on the cheek.
Kangana, who was devastated by the incident, was safely removed from there by her bodyguards. Other security forces escorted Kaur. The related video was shared on social media and sparked huge debates.
Kangana posted a video about the incident and said, “I am fine. The incident took place during a security check at the airport. After the test, the lady guard was sitting in another cabin when I left. As I passed him he hit me in the face and then scolded me. I asked him why he did this, and he said that he did it for the farmers’ struggle. “What worries me is the rise in terrorism in Punjab and how to deal with it,” he said.
An inquiry committee comprising senior CISF officers has been constituted to investigate the matter. Initially, the lady constable was suspended. Following this, a case has now been registered against him under IPC Sections 323 and 341. He has not been arrested yet.
Last year 2020, there were huge protests across the country regarding the three agricultural laws. Kangana’s comments about the struggling farmers at that time provoked a lot of backlash. That is, last September on his Twitter page, “The same people who spread misinformation and rumors about CAA, which led to riots, are now spreading misinformation about agriculture laws. They create terror in the country. It is noteworthy that he had said that they were ‘terrorists’.
