Fake Preacher Who Deceived Women in Kanyakumari Arrested by Kerala Police
Shibu S. Nair, a resident of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, was arrested by the Kerala police for allegedly deceiving and extorting money and jewelry from poor women in coastal villages of Kanyakumari district by posing as a religious preacher.
Reports indicate that he approached lonely and economically disadvantaged women, pretending to offer religious teachings. Gaining their trust, he allegedly coerced or manipulated them into giving him money and valuables.
Upon receiving complaints, the Kerala police conducted a detailed investigation and gathered evidence regarding his fraudulent activities. Following this, they arrested Shibu S. Nair for his involvement in the crime.
Furthermore, videos of him delivering fake sermons and acting as a preacher have gone viral on social media, sparking outrage among the public.
