Chief Minister Stalin has appointed Dindigul Leoni as the President of the Tamil Nadu Government Textbook and Educational Institute, who has spoken controversially about women’s hips. The BJP and AIADMK strongly opposed Leoni’s order. Stalin was questioned as to whether a man who spoke disparagingly of women should be placed in such a sacred position.

In this context, Dindigul Leoni yesterday assumed charge as the President of the Tamil Nadu Government Textbook and Educational Institute, even after the Opposition spoke.

He later told reporters that steps would be taken to compile Karunanidhi’s art, writing and public works for students from class one to class 12 under the guidance of the Chief Minister.
