Five athletes from Tamil Nadu have been selected to participate in the Tokyo Olympics. They are from Madurai, Ramanathapuram and Trichy districts.
Health Rajeev and Naganathan Pandey have been selected for the men’s 4x400m and Thanalakshmi Sehgar, Suba Venkatesh and Revathi Veeramani have been selected for the mixed 4x400m.
Indian boxers Mary Kom and hockey hero Manpreet Singh are set to fly the national flag during the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics.
