INS Sunaina has arrived at the port of Port Louis in Mauritius.
INS Sunaina arrived at Port Louis, Mauritius on 20 June 2024. The ship will remain there until June 24, 2024.
The ship will be engaged in maritime surveillance along with the Mauritius Coast Guard vessel Barracuda.
The visit highlights the Indian Navy’s commitment to joint special patrolling and regional cooperation in maritime security in the region.
When INS Sunaina arrived there, the ship was given a rousing welcome by the Band of the Mauritius Force.
The ship, which has visited the port of Port Louis, is engaged in professional and social work, training for Mauritius port staff, medical camp and sports activities.
On the occasion of International Day of Yoga, a joint yoga session was held on board INS Sunaina and Barracuda, Mauritius in Port Louis.
It was attended by Indian Navy and National Coast Guard of Mauritius. The ship is open to visitors today.
INS Sunaina’s visit to Mauritius is aimed at strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries in maritime security cooperation and regional cooperation.
