The death toll from an Air Force plane crash in the Philippines on Sunday has risen to 50.
The C-130, an Air Force plane carrying 92 people from the southern Philippines, crashed when it lost control of its pilot while attempting to land on Zulu Island in Zulu province. The plane exploded and crashed at breakneck speed.
Informed rescue crews were involved in the rescue operation. The death toll from the crash has now risen to 50. More than 40 people were injured. They are all being treated at the hospital.
Authorities said there was no sign of the plane being hit. However, an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
