Prime Minister Modi, who has gone to Italy for the G7 conference, met with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Ukrainian President Zelensky and others.
The G7 summit is being held at a luxury resort in the Apulia region of Italy. Prime Minister Modi was given a warm welcome when he went to participate in the G7 Summit at the invitation of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
In this context, Prime Minister Modi met and talked with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. Both discussed global and regional issues.
Following this, Prime Minister Modi also met French President Emmanuel Macron. At that time, the two leaders discussed strengthening the partnership in the fields of defense, nuclear energy, space, education and digital infrastructure.
Later, Prime Minister Modi met Ukrainian President Zelensky. Prime Minister Modi said that the meeting with the President of Ukraine was constructive and that India is keen to strengthen bilateral relations. Modi also said that India believes that peace can be brought about through dialogue and diplomacy.
