BJP’s defeat in the Faizabad constituency, which includes the Ayodhya Ram temple in Uttar Pradesh, has shocked the people. And the background of this failure can be seen in detail in this compilation…!
The votes cast in the seven-phase Lok Sabha elections were counted on June 4.
In this election, there was a direct competition between the National Democratic Alliance led by the BJP and the INDI alliance comprising the opposition parties including Congress, DMK and Samajwadi Party.
The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance won 292 seats. INDI Alliance won 234 seats.
Although the BJP-led alliance won 292 seats, the BJP lost in Faizabad, which includes Ayodhya, where the Ram temple is located in Uttar Pradesh.
While the BJP campaigned across the country highlighting the Ayodhya temple, it faced defeat in the Faizabad constituency, which includes the temple.
Samajwadi candidate Avdesh Prasad won by securing 54,567 more votes than BJP candidate Lallu Singh. BJP candidate Lallu Singh got 4,99,722 votes and Samajwadi candidate Avdesh Prasad got 5,54,289 votes. In Uttar Pradesh, which has 80 Lok Sabha seats, the BJP won 33 seats.
In Uttar Pradesh, BJP managed to win 33 seats due to its people’s welfare programme. Also, people in the know say that this time, it was because of the Samajwadi Party’s alliance with the Congress that the party was able to win more seats, otherwise the BJP would have won.
And Congress and Samajwadi parties have started campaigning against BJP. But BJP keeps all these aside and continues to serve the people.
As promised by the BJP for many years, a Ram temple has been built in Ayodhya. The number of people thronging there is testimony to that.
With the start of Prime Minister Modi’s good governance, it is a fact that India will occupy the third place in the economy in the next 5 years…!
