The first session of the 18th Lok Sabha will begin on June 24. On June 24 and 25, the new MPs will be sworn in. For this, President Drabupati Murmu will appoint the Interim Speaker.

Balraj Jakar- Belongs to Congress party. He was the Speaker for a total of 9 years and 329 days. He has served as the Speaker of the Lok Sabha for most years. That is, he served as the Speaker of the 7th and 8th Lok Sabha
- GMC Balayo- Belongs to Telugu Desam Party. He is the first Dalit to hold the post of Lok Sabha Speaker. Vajpayee served as the Speaker of the 12th Lok Sabha for 3 years 342 days during his tenure as Prime Minister.
- Somnath Chatterjee- Belongs to Marxist Communist Party. He was the Speaker of the 14th Lok Sabha. He served as Speaker for 5 years from 2004 to 2009.
