In Uttar Pradesh, 52 per cent of people have said they want BJP’s Yogi Adityanath to continue as chief minister next time.
In the last 2017 general election in Uttar Pradesh, the BJP won a majority with 39.67 per cent of the vote. The Bahujan Samaj Party got 22.23 per cent votes and the Samajwadi Party 21.82 per cent votes. The Congress won only 7 constituencies (6.25 per cent of the vote), including the most influential Rae Bareli constituency for Congress general secretary Priyanka.
In this case, the general election will take place in a few months. Various political parties have intensified their political activities in the wake of this election. In this context, 52 per cent of the people in a poll conducted by a private news agency said that BJP’s Yogi Adityanath would return to power. The poll also shows that 37 per cent of the people do not like the rule of the yogi.
