The National Democratic Alliance is forming the government for the third time as the BJP emerged as the single largest party by winning the majority of seats in the parliamentary elections.
The votes cast in the parliamentary elections are being counted. BJP is leading in 241 seats.
Similarly, Congress is leading in 99 seats, Samajwadi Party in 35 seats, Trinamool Congress in 29 seats, DMK in 21 seats, Telugu Desam in 16 seats and United Janata Dal in 14 seats.
