There was a commotion in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly today as Governor RN Ravi left without reading the Tamil Nadu government’s speech.
The Tamil Nadu Assembly session started today at 9:30 am in the assembly hall. As it is the first meeting of the new year, it is customary to start the meeting with the Governor’s speech.
For this, Governor R.N. Ravi visited the assembly hall this morning. President of the Assembly Mu. Dad welcomed.
Governor RN Ravi is expected to deliver his speech after the commencement of the session. But within 3 minutes of its commencement, Governor Ravi unexpectedly left the House without reading the Tamil Nadu Government’s speech. It is reported that Governor Ravi boycotted the rally saying he was denied permission to sing the National Anthem.
Earlier, Governor Ravi, who arrived in the Assembly, was accorded a police parade. He accepted the marching honors. It is noteworthy that Governor Ravi was welcomed by Speaker Appavu wearing a bonnet.
