BJP won 240 seats and became the single largest party. Meanwhile, BJP-led National Democratic Alliance won 292 seats.

To participate in this meeting M.K.Stalin went to Delhi yesterday at 1 o’clock from Chennai. After that he participated in India Alliance meeting.
After the meeting, Chief Minister Stalin reached Delhi airport at 8 pm to return to Chennai. At that time, Telugu Desam Party President Chandrababu Naidu had also arrived at the airport to return home after participating in the National Democratic Alliance meeting. Then both of them met in person.
At that moment Chief Minister M. K.Stalin gave a bouquet to Chandrababu Naidu and congratulated him on his election victory. Similarly, Chandrababu Naidu also congratulated M.K.Stalin. In a post posted on his X site, Chief Minister M.K.Stalin said, “I met Karunanidhi’s long-time friend Chandrababu Naidu at the Delhi airport.
I congratulated him and expressed my hope that we will work together to strengthen the good relations between the sister states of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Chandrababu Naidu will play a very important role in the central government. I hope he will advocate for southern states and protect our rights.”
