Using the funds under the Samagra Siksha Scheme, the Smart Classroom Project for Schools will cost Rs. Will the Chief Minister clarify the background behind awarding the 1,000 crore contract to the Kerala state government company Keltron instead of the Tamil Nadu government company Elcott? BJP state president Annamalai has questioned.
In the X report published by Annamalai in this regard,
In three years after coming to power, Stalin, the Chief Minister of the DMK government, who has not implemented any projects for the development of the state or the welfare of the people, has not fully fulfilled his election promises, and has been running on just advertisements, has once again been exposed for trying to put a sticker on the central government’s projects.
Under the central government’s Samagra Siksha scheme for the improvement of school education, the funds given to Tamil Nadu in the last three years were Rs.5,858.32 crore.
Everything that Chief Minister Stalin is trying to show as DMK’s achievements has been done under the Samagra Shiksha scheme with central government funds.
The DMK’s only achievement in school education was that it did not provide funds to schools under the compulsory education scheme for two years for kindergarten classes.
If the truth is like this, it is ridiculous to try to present these as DMK’s achievements without the least bit of embarrassment.
Apart from that, using the funds under the Samagra Siksha Scheme, the Smart Classroom Project for Schools will cost Rs. Will the Chief Minister clarify the background behind awarding the 1,000 crore contract to the Kerala state government company Keltron instead of the Tamil Nadu government company Elcott? Annamalai has questioned.
