Prime Minister Modi’s 45-hour meditation has come to an end this afternoon.
Prime Minister Modi arrived in Kanyakumari after completing the final campaign for the parliamentary elections the day before yesterday. After having darshan of Sami at Bhagwati Amman Temple in the evening, he started meditation at Vivekananda Mandapam and remained in meditation for a total of 11 hours till 5.30 am.
During meditation he changed into saffron vest, saffron shirt and saffron towel. He wears sandalwood and kumkum, with thiruneetu band on his forehead. He meditated with the Rudraksha garland in his hand and closed his eyes chanting the Vedic mantras. The sound of Om was constantly resounding in the hall.
Prime Minister Modi came out yesterday at 5.30 am after completing meditation. At 5.55 he saw the sunrise from Vivekananda Mandapam. Then he worshiped the Sun and again crawled into the hall. At that time he sat for some time in Sri Padam Mandapam and Swami Vivekananda Memorial Mandapam and closed his eyes and meditated. Prime Minister Modi was meditating for the 3rd consecutive day today.
In this situation, the Prime Minister has completed the 3-day meditation this afternoon. With this the Prime Minister’s 45-hour meditation has come to an end. After completing the meditation, PM Modi came out of the hall. After that he took a photo with the staff working in Vivekananda Mandapam.
After this, he reached Thiruvalluvar statue by boat. After paying respects to Thiruvalluvar statue, he is expected to go to Thiruvananthapuram by helicopter and from there to Delhi.
