Opening Ceremony of Sri Niveditha Child Adoption and Care Centre in Hosur
A new Sri Niveditha Sishu Nivas child adoption and care center has been established in Hosur, Krishnagiri district, to provide shelter and support for orphaned and abandoned children. The grand inauguration ceremony of this center was held recently.
Sri Niveditha Sishu Nivas – A Dedicated Care Facility
The founder of this child support center, Indhumathi, has been providing shelter, education, food, and compassionate care to orphaned children since 1998. With a vision to bring lasting change in the lives of these children, she has been actively involved in selfless social service.
New Center Built at a Cost of 60 Lakhs
To expand Indhumathi’s service, a new Sri Niveditha Sishu Nivas center has been built in Narasimha Colony, Hosur. Approximately ₹60 lakhs has been invested in the construction of this facility, which is equipped with the best amenities for children.
The inauguration ceremony of this center was held in a grand manner. The event was graced by Hosur Sub-Collector Priyanka, Senthil Kumar, Joint Secretary of the Seva Division of RSS, social activists, members of the public, and several other dignitaries.
Highlights of the Inauguration Ceremony
The event began with a warm welcome by the children. Following this, Hosur Sub-Collector Priyanka inaugurated the new center and delivered a speech. In her address, she stated, “Such centers provide immense support to children who are otherwise left to struggle in society. If social activists, the government, and private voluntary organizations work together, we can achieve great progress in our country.”
Later, Senthil Kumar, Joint Secretary of the Seva Division of RSS, addressed the gathering, saying, “There are more than one lakh self-help service organizations functioning across the country. These organizations work towards helping those in need. Our organization will continue to be on the ground for the welfare of orphaned children. This is not just social service; it is service to God.”
