Sasikala said Rajinikanth, who was there when some people did not allow Jayalalithaa and me to visit her body during the MGR funeral, gave her voice.
Sasikala said in an exclusive interview to a private TV channel that none of the then ministers had informed Jayalalithaa about the disappearance of MGR. We got the information from PTI.
I was the one who called Jayalalithaa. On the phone I told Jayalalithaa the news of MGR’s death. The one who asked if that was the case did not get a word from him.
Then I put down the phone and picked up Dhinakaran and went to Boise Garden. There Jayalalithaa and I sat in the back of the car. We went straight to the MGR house in Ramavaram. The gate of the house there was closed.
We blew the horn. No one opened. Some were bent on not letting us in. Then Dhinakaran said if the gate is not opened it can be broken and taken away. Immediately Jayalalithaa and I got ready for it.
Dinakaran told us to load the car windows so that the iron particles would not fall on us when breaking. After this they somehow opened the gate. We went inside. They were then detained at Portico.
It didn’t leave us asking as much. Immediately a voice from there said, “Leave Andamma.” Looking back at who Rajinikanth is. He was also present at the MGR death. I still remember Rajini giving voice to us at that time.
Then we went inside. In one room was a crowd of women. We went to another room. Some thought to lock the three of us in there. Luckily Dhinakaran said he could not lock us because he was in the middle of the doors.
