Every year DMK comes up with empty announcements that they will buy new buses. Annamalai said that the government is stopping.
Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai has said in a post that:-
I am deeply saddened to hear the news that a woman has died and 38 people have been seriously injured in a bus falling into a ditch near Virudhunagar. My deepest condolences to the bereaved family. I pray for the speedy recovery of all the injured.
Reports are coming out that the bus driver lost control due to sleep disturbance and the accident took place. In transport corporations across Tamil Nadu, vacant positions including drivers and conductors have not been filled for many years, and due to this, the employees are subjected to heavy workload. Also, without proper maintenance, government buses regularly meet with accidents, resulting in loss of passengers.
Every year, the DMK government stops with empty announcements that they will fill up the vacant posts and buy new buses. I urge the DMK government to immediately come forward to fill the vacant posts in the transport corporations across Tamil Nadu, stop using the damaged buses and stop the public from playing with their lives and purchase new buses. This is stated in it.
