It has been revealed that Puducherry Chief Minister Rangasamy did not participate in the event due to ill health while Narendra Modi was invited to attend the swearing in ceremony for the 3rd term.
The NDA alliance won 292 seats in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections in the country. BJP will form the government with the support of Telugu Desam and United Janata Dal as BJP did not get a majority. With this, Narendra Modi will take office as the Prime Minister for the 3rd time in a row.
Preparations for the Prime Minister’s swearing-in ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan have already been completed. Narendra Modi will be sworn in as Prime Minister tonight at 7.15 pm. President Thirelapathi Murmu administers oath of office and oath of secrecy. International leaders have been invited to this function.
Similarly, BJP alliance party leaders have also been invited to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Modi. Puducherry Chief Minister Rangasamy was also invited in that regard. Puducherry Chief Minister Rangasamy did not participate in the meeting of NDA alliance leaders in Delhi.
Then various parties were confused. The reason for Rangasamy’s non-participation was not disclosed. In this situation, it was said that Puducherry Chief Minister Rangasamy has boycotted Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony. NR Congress-BJP coalition government is taking place in Puducherry.
However, in the Puducherry Lok Sabha elections, Congress candidate Vaithilingam defeated BJP candidate Namachivayam by a margin of about 1.30 votes. It was said that there was confusion between the NR Congress-BJP alliance as the opposition candidate won while in power. But it has come to light that Puducherry Chief Minister Rangaswamy did not participate in the swearing-in ceremony due to ill health.
