Narendra Modi is going to take office as the Prime Minister for the 3rd time after 2014 and 2019. In the last 2 terms, the BJP formed the government with a single majority at the centre. But this time the absolute majority of 272 MPs is not available.
BJP has only 240 MPs. As a result, a new government will be formed today at the center with the support of 52 MPs from alliance parties including Telugu Desam and United Janata Dal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to take over as Chief Minister for the 3rd time at 7.15 pm tonight.
In this case, who will be the MPs in Modi’s new central cabinet has created great expectations. The coalition parties have asked for Union ministerial responsibilities. Due to this today the MPs of the parties in alliance with the BJP MPs are also going to take charge as Union Ministers. In the first phase, it is said that 30 people are going to take charge as Union Ministers today along with Prime Minister Modi.
In this context, Prime Minister Modi is going to host a tea party (tea party) at his residence in Delhi today for the MPs who are going to take charge as Union Ministers. This tea party is going to be held at 11.30 am today at Prime Minister Modi’s residence in Delhi. MPs about to take charge as Union Ministers have been invited to participate in this tea party.
According to BJP, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Prakalat Joshi, Sarbanand Sonowal, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Amit Shah, Jyotiraditya Scindia and others have been invited. As a result, it has been confirmed that they will take charge as central ministers again in the first phase.
Similarly, in terms of coalition parties, former Karnataka Chief Minister and JDS leader Kumaraswamy, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s United Janata Dal Party’s Lalan Singh, Pratap Rao Jadhav, Chandrababu Naidu’s Telugu Desam Party MPs Ram Mohan Naidu, Bemmasani Chandrasekhar, LJP’s Chirak Paswan, RJD’s Jayant Chaudhary, AJSU Party’s Chandrasekhar Chaudhary and others have been invited. As a result, all of them are going to take charge as Union Ministers.
And the name of Tamil Nadu BJP state president Annamalai is also included in this list. He has been called to participate in the tea party. With this, it is confirmed that he will also take charge as a Union Minister. He lost in Annamalai Coimbatore Lok Sabha constituency in the earlier Lok Sabha elections.
DMK candidate Ganapathi Rajkumar secured 5 lakh 68 thousand 200 votes in this constituency. Annamalai got only 4 lakh 50 thousand 132 votes. DMK candidate Ganapathi Rajkumar won by a margin of 1 lakh 18 thousand 68 votes.
While Annamalai lost in Coimbatore, all BJP and BJP alliance candidates lost in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Even so, the BJP formed an alliance alone without the Dravidian parties and got a significant number of votes in Tamil Nadu. As a result, it was said that Annamalai may be given the post of Union Minister. It is in this context that Annamalai has been invited to participate in the tea party for the Union Ministers today.
