Notorious rowdy Seesingh Raja, who was arrested in Andhra Pradesh, was shot dead by the police. Seesing Raja’s wife says it’s a fake encounter. Police said they shot in self-defense. What really happened?
She is the wife of Rowdy Seesingh Raja, who is talking to her baby in tears. Within hours of her telling the police that her husband was going to have a police encounter, police gunfire erupted. When asked about it, “Recently, it is a common practice to release a video of the relatives of whoever is arrested. But this has nothing to do with their action,” said the police. Similarly, when it was first reported that Sising Raja was arrested in the Armstrong murder case, the police denied it.
Who is this cheesing king? Why was he associated with Armstrong’s murder? What really happened near Neelangarai?
Raja is the son of the Narasimhan-Angamma couple, a native of Andhra Pradesh. He used to live in East Tambaram and studied till ninth standard. Raja learned the martial art of karate and started using it on his friends. A karate master, he began to engage in petty sparring and beatings.
Employed by a private car loan company, Raja impounded the cars of defaulters. Thus he became a ‘cheesing’ king from an ordinary king. After getting acquainted with a rowdy from Tambaram market, he indulged in criminal activities like extortion and extortion. He ventured into real estate and started snapping up land like carts.
Gradually, he became rowdy and became a historical record criminal by engaging in crimes like murder and extortion. Police say 39 cases are pending against Raja, including 6 cases of murder. One of them was a case of extortion at the Velachery police station. Besides that, Raja was a wanted accused in some other cases. Recently, the police put up a poster saying that a reward would be given for information about him.
Cheesing Raja, who has been arrested eight times under the Prevention of Gangster Act, and the notorious Argad rowdy Suresh, who was murdered last year, are friends. Because of that, it was suggested that King might be involved in Armstrong’s murder.
In this situation, the Special Police received information that Cheesing Raja was hiding in Andhra Pradesh. The special forces who arrested him and brought him to Chennai have handed him over to the Velachery police. The Velachery police have interrogated him in connection with the case of extortion by showing a gun. The police said that then Raja said that he was hiding the particular gun at Akkarai near Neelangarai and took him there to seize it.
The police say that they first took them to two places and showed them the direction and the third time they took them to Akkarai. According to the police, Raja took out a gun buried there and fired twice at the policemen, so Velachery Police Inspector Vimal and Seesingh Raja shot at him in self-defence.
Interviewed about this, Joint Commissioner of Police CP Chakraborty asked, “Did Sising Raja come to Chennai from Andhra Pradesh and extort money even though he knew that the police were actively looking for him?”, “Does the police take away such big criminals in handcuffs? How did he suddenly attack?” Journalists raised various questions including He replied somewhat vaguely.
Armstrong, who was the Tamil Nadu president of the Bahujan Samaj Party, was murdered last July. After that, Arun, who took over as the Chennai Police Commissioner, said, “Action will be taken in the language that the raiders understand.” Following this, three raiders, Thiruvenkadam, Kakatoppu Balaji and Seesing Raja, who were arrested in the Armstrong murder case, were killed in the encounter. The only reason given by the police for all this is self-defense. The million dollar question is how all the raiders attack the police at the same time and try to escape, although this is what the police usually say when there is an encounter.
