Central Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that there is no evidence of leak of NEET question paper.
The budget session of Parliament is underway. During the meeting, a heated discussion took place between the opposition parties and the Central Minister regarding the NEET examination malpractice.
Congress MP on NEET malpractice Rahul Gandhi said, “If money is enough, people say that they can get Indian exam results in their favour. Lakhs of students are affected by NEET exam rigging. Indian exam system is a big fraud. There is a big problem in our exam system.
It is clear to the people of the country that there is a problem with the examination methods, not only in NEET, but in all major competitive examinations. Central Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan blames everyone but himself. I don’t think he understands the basis of the issue,” he said.
Later, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav said, “The central government is creating new records in the examination question paper leak. Students are struggling all over the country, many facts have been revealed in the investigation and many people have been arrested. If Dharmendra Pradhan continues as the minister, the students will not get justice.”
Responding to this, Central Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that the examination results have been published in the public domain as per the Supreme Court guidelines. I don’t want to politicize exam rigging, but I have a list of how many times question paper rigging happened in Uttar Pradesh when Akhilesh Yadav was the Chief Minister.
There is no evidence that the NEET question paper was leaked. Opposition parties are playing politics in the matter of NEET exam. NEET malpractice has happened only in a couple of places. The entire BJP government will take responsibility if there is a situation to take responsibility. The government assures that even the small mistakes that happened now will not happen again.
5 crore students have successfully appeared in the NEET exam in the last 5 years. Out of 4700 examination centers only one examination center of Patna has leaked the question paper. A formal investigation into the NEET malpractice is ongoing. “Just because you shout in the Lok Sabha, it does not make it true, you have said that the country’s election system is a fraud. This is the worst information given by the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha. I strongly condemn it,” he said.
The opposition parties have also demanded that Central Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resign after taking responsibility for the NEET question paper leak.
