Health Minister Veena George said a 16-year-old girl and a 38-year-old doctor in Thiruvananthapuram had been confirmed to be infected with the Zika virus when the infection was 21 yesterday.
The government has set up Zika virus testing facilities at medical colleges in Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur and Kozhikode and at the National Institute of Virology in Alappuzha.
