20 people for marriage …. 500 people allowed to buy alcohol …? High Court …!

Many people line up to buy liquor in front of Bevco liquor stores run by the Kerala government. A petition was filed in the Kerala High Court seeking regulation of this. Moreover, the High Court had voluntarily filed a case against the purchase of liquor by standing in a crowd without observing social exclusion in the Govt environment.

The case came up for hearing yesterday before High Court Judge Devan Ramachandran.

The judge said the Kerala government had banned more than 20 people from attending weddings and funerals to prevent the spread of the disease. But there are more than 500 people queuing in front of liquor stores alone to buy liquor, disregarding social exclusion. This is the Govt control. Kerala is one of the states in the country where the incidence of Govt. Hundreds of people standing in line to buy alcohol without following social exclusion will further increase the coveted spread.

The government has failed to prevent people from gathering in front of liquor stores. It is clear that the administrative process of the state has failed. Then, the manager of Bevco, the Commissioner of Calvary will have to appear online. Thus, the High Court judge has severely criticized the Kerala government.
