A consultative meeting of the newly inducted ministers was held this evening under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Following that, now the official notification has been released about which minister has which departments.
No party got a majority in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections. However, with the BJP winning 240 seats, the BJP has formed the government with the support of NDA allies.

Narendra Modi was sworn in as the Prime Minister of India for the third time on Sunday. This is the first time since Nehru that a person has been elected for a third term.
Modi’s 3.0 cabinet included a total of 72 ministers along with him. The mega event held at Rashtrapati Bhavan was attended by leaders of Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives and many celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Rajinikanth. It was expected that the information about who has which portfolio will come out yesterday.
However, they did not arrive yesterday. In this context, the first meeting of the newly appointed third cabinet was held today at 5 pm. After this meeting, the official announcement about who will hold which portfolio has now been released.
