As a result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decade of good governance, 2014 – 2024, India continues to be a stable and fast-growing country on the global stage today. India ranks first among countries with low inflation and high growth rates. Due to this, the value of Indian money has also increased in the world arena.
11.7 crore toilets have been constructed under the Clean India scheme brought by our Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 11.6 crore households are provided tap water under the Jaljeevan scheme. 10.3 crore women have got free cooking gas connection under Ujjwala scheme. 6.9 crore people have benefited from the Prime Minister’s Ayushman Bharat insurance scheme. Under the Prime Minister’s Housing for All scheme, 2.6 crore houses have been constructed. Apart from these, our country’s infrastructure has developed to such an extent that global companies are coming forward to invest in our country.
Based on the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Modi, in the next 25 years, in the coming year 2047, our country should become a developed country, a new India, our country is continuously traveling on the path of development. Agriculture, education, manufacturing, infrastructure, defense, industry, energy, green power, our country is continuously progressing and making achievements in every sector. As a step towards that, this 2024 financial statement of the central government is also huge.
Our Honorable Union Finance Minister Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman has created a new history by presenting the financial status report of our country for the seventh consecutive time. He has announced many wonderful projects related to the development of the country and the welfare of the people.
In particular, projects have been announced in this year’s financial report to further improve all the projects that have been implemented for the last ten years to benefit the poor, women, farmers and youth.
In the last ten years, around 2.6 crore houses have been constructed under the Prime Minister’s Housing for All scheme and the poor people have benefited, and now, the announcement that another 3 crore houses will be constructed in rural areas is very welcome. Also, the announcement that houses will be built at a cost of Rs 10 lakh for 1 crore poor families living in urban areas has strengthened the belief that the country will soon be homeless.
Women Development:
To realize that the role of women is essential in the development of a country, our government brought reservation law for women and now it has given importance to women led development. For schemes benefiting women and children, Rs. 3 Lakh Crore has been earmarked, reflecting the continued importance of women by our government.
Rural Development:
For rural development Rs. 2.66 lakh crore and Rs.1.52 lakh crore has been earmarked for the agriculture sector as a basis for inclusive growth.
Youth Development:
For the development of the youth, various new schemes have been launched by the Hon’ble Union Finance Minister Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman announced.
1,000 industrial skill development centers with advanced facilities to improve the skills of the youth, the skill loan scheme has been revamped and the facility to get loans up to Rs. 7.5 lakhs with central government financial security, one month salary for all newly employed youth in the organization organizations, financial assistance from the government, in the next five years. , 20 lakh youth will be given skill development training, skill development program, 500 leading institutions of the country, training work for 1 crore youth with stipend of Rs.5,000, low-cost accommodation for laborers traveling to other states, Government, private contribution etc. Announcements, Youth as the future pillars of the country. Also, the increase in loan ceiling from Rs.10 lakh to Rs.20 lakh under the Mudra Loan Scheme for Entrepreneurs will greatly increase the business opportunities for the youth.
Department of Education
An allocation of Rs.1.48 lakh crore has been made for the education sector. Also, the announcement of a loan of up to Rs.10 lakh to help students in higher education will greatly benefit the students.
Nationwide, through the solar panel scheme, 300 units of free electricity will be provided to 1 crore households, reducing power shortage and increasing solar power generation. Apart from these, tax exemption has been announced for three more drugs for the benefit of cancer patients which is very welcome. This will reduce the medical expenses of cancer patients.
Gold prices fell after customs duty on gold and silver was reduced from 15% to 6%. Through this, there is an opportunity to increase the investment of middle class families.
Tax distribution to states, Rs. 20.99 lakh crore, which has increased to Rs.23.49 lakh crore. In the last year 2019-20, this allocation, which was around Rs.11.45 lakh crore, has more than doubled in five years, is one of the greatest achievements of our central government. Through this, Tamil Nadu will also benefit greatly. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr. Stalin should engage in activities to properly use this tax distribution for the benefit of Tamil Nadu.
