BJP is leading in Haryana assembly elections.
Polling for the 90-constituency Haryana Assembly elections was held in a single phase on October 5. 67.90 percent votes were reported. A total of 1,031 candidates contested. In this, BJP Congress, INLD, JJP and Aam Aadmi Party are conducting multiple exams.
In the assembly elections, the counting of votes started today at 8 am. As of 2.45 pm, BJP is leading in 49 seats, Congress is leading in 36 other parties in 5 seats.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini takes the lead. He is leading by 840 votes over Meva Singh of Congress. Bhupinder Singh Hooda of Congress is leading in Garhi Chambla-Khiloi constituency with 16,823 votes.
Meanwhile, senior BJP leader Anil Vij said that the people of Haryana have taught the Congress a lesson.
Senior BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla said that the BJP is going to form the government for the third consecutive term in Haryana, which indicates strong public support for the party’s work. I hope those who celebrated after seeing the polls will not blame the EVMs after seeing the correct polls.
