KC from Nitish’s party said that the India alliance was ready to give the post of prime minister to bring Nitishkumar to their side. Tyagi has made many comments.
The support of Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar has become very important for BJP to form the government in the environment where no party can get a majority in the Lok Sabha elections.
There are also reports that the Indian alliance is trying to pull both of them to their side. Meanwhile, Bihar Chief Minister and JDU party leader K.C. Tyagi has made some important points.
Nitish Kumar: K.C. said that the opposition India Alliance was ready to offer the post of Prime Minister to bring Nitish Kumar to their side. Tyagi, however, said that Nitish Kumar refused to accept it.
In this regard, he further said, “Nitish Kumar got a chance to become the Prime Minister from the opposition India Alliance. Those who protested that he should not be the convener of the India Alliance… today they said they are ready to give the post of Prime Minister. But Nitish refused it. We are firm in the NDA alliance.” He informed.
NDA alliance: However, he refused to answer a question about who claimed to be offering the prime ministership. To this question, he said, “Some leaders wanted to approach Nitish Kumar directly. But we left the India alliance because they treated our leader badly. Only after that we joined the NDA alliance. We will travel in the same alliance. There is no talk of changing the alliance.”
Congress Denial: K.C. Tyagi’s speech created a stir in national politics. However, the Congress has denied this, saying it has not proposed any such offer. In this regard, KC Venugopal, the leader of the party, said, “It does not seem that anyone from the India Alliance has approached Nitish Kumar to make him the Prime Minister. We do not have any such information. They should say who approached them.”
The BJP did not get a majority in the recently held Lok Sabha elections. Although the party won 240 seats and emerged as the single largest party, it could not secure an absolute majority. As a result, the JD(U) and the Telugu Desam parties, the allies of the NDA, will form the BJP government
Prime Minister Modi: Immediately after the news of BJP’s lack of majority in the Lok Sabha elections, it was said that India has made alliance efforts to bring Telugu Desam and Nitish Kumar to their side. However, both Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar have decided to continue in the NDA alliance. While they attended the NDA alliance meeting and expressed their support, only after that Modi claimed the right to form the government. He will be sworn in as Prime Minister for the third time tomorrow evening.
