4 MoUs were signed between Ukraine and India.
Prime Minister Modi, who traveled to Ukraine by train from Poland, met the country’s President Zelensky in the capital Kyiv. Then Prime Minister Modi said to Zelensky:-
We (India) are not neutral in this war. We have been biased since the beginning. It is the side of peace. We come from the land of the Buddha. There is no place for war. We come from the land of Mahatma Gandhi, who gave a message of peace to the entire world.
This solution can be found only through negotiations and diplomatic activities. So we should move towards it without wasting time. So both sides should sit together and talk and find ways out of this crisis. India is ready to help Ukraine in all possible ways to restore peace.
This was said by Prime Minister Modi.
The two leaders held talks individually and together with a high-level delegation. The two leaders had extensive discussions, particularly on the issue of peace and stability in Ukraine.
In the talks between Prime Minister Modi and Zelensky, India-Ukraine trade, economic issues, defense, pharmaceuticals, agriculture and education were discussed in detail. At the end of this, 4 MoUs were signed between the two countries.
In this way, 4 agreements were signed on cooperation in agriculture and food sector, cooperation in the field of medical product regulation, India’s provision of grant assistance for social development projects in Ukraine and cultural cooperation between the two countries for the years 2024-28.

My visit to Ukraine was historic. I came to this great nation with the intention of deepening India-Ukraine friendship. I had constructive talks with President Zelensky. India strongly believes that peace should always prevail. He thanked the government and people of Ukraine for their hospitality.
