12 major roads remain closed in Himachal Pradesh due to heavy rains and landslides.
It has been raining heavily in Himachal Pradesh for the past few days. Due to this, various hazards including floods are continuing in many parts of the state.
Amidst this, a terrible landslide occurred yesterday in Barmar area of Samba district. The mishap between Koinalla and Donali has brought traffic through the area to a standstill. Especially the Manimakesh Yatra which is going to start next month has also been affected a lot.
Meanwhile, 12 main roads are closed due to continuous heavy rains in the state. In particular, 5 roads in Shimla, 4 in Mandi and 3 in Kangra have been closed, so the motorists have been put to great difficulty.
It is to be noted that a yellow warning for heavy rain has been issued for remote parts of the state today (Friday) and tomorrow.
