In the Thiruparankundram issue, a petition was submitted to the Madurai District Collector on behalf of the Madurai Religious Harmony Organizations, demanding appropriate action against the organizations causing the problem.
A grievance redressal meeting was held at the Madurai District Collector’s Office. At that time, Advocate Vanchinathan submitted a petition to Collector Sangeeta on behalf of the Madurai Religious Harmony Organizations.
In it, it was stated that action should be taken under the National Security Act against the organizations working to create problems between Hindus and Muslims in the Thiruparankundram issue and that the Thiruparankundram mountain should be named after the Tamil name in Sangam literature, Paran Kundram.
At that time, District Collector Sangeeta explained that the government is working with social harmony without any discrimination in the Thiruparankundram issue.
