As it is a holiday, devotees have thronged the Tiruchendur Murugan temple.
Thiruchendur Subramania Swamy Temple is the second house among the six houses of Lord Muruga. Also, Surana is considered to be the place of death and the place of Guru.
In this situation, a large number of devotees from different parts of the state have visited the temple today, which is a weekend holiday. They have been taking a holy dip in the sea since morning, waiting in long queues and having darshan of Sami. The temple complex is seen as a crowd of devotees as couples come to get married wearing garlands and necks on one side, and devotees who shave and pay offerings on the other side.
Due to the large number of devotees, the temple premises, the beach area, the Nazhi well and the main roads are all crowded with devotees. With the increasing number of devotees, special arrangements have been made by the temple administration. Also, the police are engaged in security work.
