The country’s adviser Mohammad Yunus has decided to hold talks with the representatives of Hindu students affected by the violence in Bangladesh.
After Sheikh Hasina resigned as Prime Minister of Bangladesh and left the country, violence was unleashed against the minority population, including Hindus. In this case, Mohammed Yunus, who was sworn in as an adviser to the Bangladesh government, expressed his concern over the attack on Hindus.
He has offered to hold talks with Hindu students and youth representatives. It is noteworthy that earlier, the students protested with 8-point demands, insisting on enacting a law to protect the rights of Hindus in Bangladesh.
