It has been reported that the bodies of 89 Palestinians killed by the Israeli army were placed in serially numbered plastic bags.
The Hamas armed group operating in the Gaza Strip entered Israel on October 7 last year and carried out a terrorist attack. About 1,139 Israelis were killed in the attack. Also, Hamas kidnapped 251 people from Israel as hostages to Gazan.
Israel then declared war on Hamas. So far, Israel has rescued more than 100 hostages based on the agreement. The Israeli army has been conducting a series of attacks on various areas in Gaza with the aim of completely destroying the Hamas organization. About 37,000 Palestinians have died in these attacks so far.
In this context, the Gaza Government Media Office reported today that Israel has returned the bodies of 89 Palestinians killed by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip. Palestinian security sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the bodies, which were previously in Israeli possession, were delivered by the International Society of the Red Cross via Kerem Shalom in the southern Gaza Strip. The bodies were kept in plastic bags with serial numbers, but no information about the origin of the bodies or the places where they were killed was reported.
