A bus carrying pilgrims from Iran overturned in a valley due to brake failure.
A bus traveling on a mountain road overturned and crashed into a valley in Las Bela district of Balochistan province, Pakistan. A bus carrying around 70 pilgrims from Iran was heading towards Punjab today when the driver lost control and overturned in a valley.
The police and the rescue team rushed to the rescue and started the rescue operation. 11 people died on the spot in this accident. 35 people were injured. They were rescued and sent to a nearby hospital.
Most of the people traveling in the bus are said to be from Lahore or Kurranwala. The police have registered a case and are investigating the accident. According to the police, the accident occurred due to brake failure.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, who heard about the accident, expressed her concern and condolences.
