The Kerala government has announced a prize money of 2 crore rupees for the bronze medalist of Indian hockey goalkeeper Sreejesh in the Paris Olympics.
In the recently concluded Paris Olympics, the Indian aggi team defeated Spain and won the bronze medal. Sreejesh, the aggi goalkeeper of the Indian team, was the main reason for India winning the bronze medal. Sreejesh had already announced his retirement with the Paris Olympics. Accordingly he retired with the match against Spain. Following this, he was given the responsibility of coaching the Indian junior team.
In this case, the Kerala government has announced a prize money of 2 crore rupees for the Indian ace goalkeeper Sreejesh who won bronze in the Paris Olympics. A press release issued by the Chief Minister’s Office said that the decision to give Rs 2 crore to Sreejesh was approved in a meeting of the Council of Ministers chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
