It seems that instead of upholding justice, Chief Minister Stalin’s iron fist is being used only to silence the truth!
BJP state president Annamalai has alleged that social activists and government officials are being killed for exposing irregularities in Tamil Nadu.
ADGP Kalpana Nayak wrote a letter to DGP Shankar Jiwal, saying that her office was burned down because she exposed irregularities in police recruitment.
Pointing out this, Annamalai posted on the X site,
Violation and violation of the law have become the norm in Tamil Nadu under the DMK government. Even the top police officers who talk about the pathetic state in which this government is functioning have not been able to escape this.
ADGP Kalpana Nayak’s office has been burned down as a reward for pointing out irregularities in the appointment of police sub-inspectors, current and past.
Furthermore, if she had been in the office when the fire broke out, she would have lost her life. What is worse is that the Tamil Nadu Police seem to have ignored his repeated requests for a proper investigation into the incident. Why?
While the police top brass tried to cover it up by calling it an electrical fault, the events leading up to the fire make the police claim unreliable. This is because ADGP Kalpana Naik was removed from the decision-making process and her approval was not sought before the revised list of sub-inspectors was released.
In Tamil Nadu, activists and government officials are being killed for exposing corruption, mismanagement and irregularities. Even the police top brass do not feel safe in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin’s iron fist seems to be used only to silence the truth instead of upholding justice, Annamalai has criticised.
