Isha founder Satguru, who six years ago posted a tweet titled ‘Earthworm is a Hindu’, has now responded with a joke and provoked him, said Tamil Nadu Finance Minister Thiagarajan.
In 2015, Satguru tweeted, ‘Hindu is a geographical identity. If an elephant is in Africa, it is African. If there was an earthworm in this land (India), it was recorded as ‘Hindu’. Minister Thiagarajan, who is currently sharing the record, responded, ‘Africa is a continent, India is a country, a republic (land here refers to India).
Hinduism is a religion, a belief. The elephant is a vertebrate mammal, the earthworm is invertebrate and can live on land. Similarly, ‘Charlotte’ means a braggart who falsely claims to have special knowledge or skills that he does not have. He is a multi-faceted braggart, ”said Thiagarajan.
Thiagarajan continued to criticize ‘Satguru’ in his new appointment as a minister. Suddenly he kept quiet for a few weeks without criticizing him. Now again, the old, that too has dug up the tweet six years ago and has been criticized and provoked.
A few weeks ago, a ‘war of words’ erupted on Twitter against Minister Thiagarajan and MLA Vanathi Srinivasan for criticizing Goa at a GST council meeting. At the time, he criticized Vanathi as a ‘born liar’. Currently, Satguru is referred to as a ‘multi-faceted person’.
