Final Phase Election: Voting Begins

Elections are being held in 7 phases for a total of 543 parliamentary constituencies across the country.
Accordingly, the preliminary election for 102 constituencies was held on 19th April, the 2nd phase election for 88 constituencies was held on 26th April, the 3rd phase election for 93 constituencies was held on 7th of last month, and the 4th phase election was held for 96 constituencies on 13th of last month. Following this, the 5th phase election was held on 20th of last month for 49 constituencies and the 6th phase election was held for 58 constituencies on 25th of last month.
In this case, polling has been held for 486 constituencies in the 6th phase of the election and the final 7th phase of the election is being held today for the remaining 57 constituencies.

Polling started at 7 am and people are standing in long queues to cast their votes. Polling will close at 6 pm. Among the 57 constituencies going to polls today in the final phase of the election, the Varanasi constituency in Uttar Pradesh, where Prime Minister Modi is contesting, is included.
All the electronic machines will be taken to the counting centers after the polling closes at 6 pm.
Accordingly, it is to be noted that the votes cast in all the 7-phase elections will be counted on the 4th and the results will be announced on the same day.
