Vellimalai Hindu Dharma Vidya Peedam Religious Class Student Conference
Governor RN Ravi will participate
Vellimalai Hindu Dharma Vidya Peedham’s 44th Religious Class Student Conference and 35th Vidya Jyoti Convocation and 1st Vidya Vibhushan Convocation will be held today (Sunday) in Thiruvattar.
On this occasion, at 8 am in the morning, the procession of the students of the Hindu religious class will begin at the Kallupalam Isak Gyamman temple. The procession reaches the Tiruvattar Anjaneyar Temple complex via the Ushlanthitta Bridge, Taiyur. Following this, Swami Kesavanandaji Maharaj hoists the Khavik flag at the conference pavilion. Then the graduation ceremony takes place. At 2 pm Kanyakumari Vivekananda Kendra Krishnamurthy will deliver the greeting.
The Governor of Tamil Nadu RN Ravi will attend as a special guest and will deliver the Vidyabhushan and Vidyajyothi degrees. After completing that program he will have darshan of Sami at Adhikesavaperumal temple in Thiruvatar.
A huge pandal is being erected in the Thiruvatar Anjaneyar temple complex for the graduation ceremony. On the occasion of the governor’s visit here, Deputy Superintendent of Police Parthiban and other police officials inspected the security arrangements yesterday. Also, there will be diversion of traffic in Tiruvatta as the procession will take place on the main road, police said.
